Amanita Safaris conduct hunts in the Bushveld of Limpopo, Free State, Mpumalanga and North West provinces of South Africa. Our experienced Professional Hunters will guide you on traditional spot-and-stalk hunts combined with tracking hunts for an ultimate hunting experience. We guarantee that your hunt will be tailor made specifically to your needs and preferences.  In the Bushveld we have access to about 60 000 acres and most of the hunting is done in areas with thick vegetation. Shots are mostly taken at shorter distances varying between 70 and a 180 Yards. In this area we prefer a rifle in a slower calibre like your 30-06 to 375H&H with heavier bullets. In the Free State and some of the other hunting areas is open grass land with small hills. Shots are taken at a longer distances varying between 150 to 300 Yards. You can use the same rifles with lighter bullets or opt for the faster flat shooting calibres 270 Win to 300 Win Mag. South Africa has more than 40 species for hunting to live your dream.
